Chief Plenty Coups Vision of the Crow Nation
This is a mixed media limited edition canvas print titled, "Chief Plenty Coups, Vision for the Crow." The artwork shows a young American Indian boy with thoughts of what to think of the white man. The life and works of Plenty Coups were of great significance to the Crow Nation as he was the last of the traditional Crow chiefs that led the tribe in its transition from the "buffalo days" to reservation life.
A closer look into this portrait will unravel the engraved symbols, notes, and letters that Michael leaves in most of his paintings to better tell the story and facts about the art.
